Wanna die?
This was part of a test I gave my students. The students were supposed to practice writing sentences using "going to". This particular student decided to get creative. :)

China!
We're back from our trip to Beijing! We had a fantastic time! We had many new experiences including professional foot massages, eating donkey, eel and duck, sliding down the Great Wall, seeing pandas, etc. It was great to get a few days of vacation and explore another Asian city.
Beijing is very different from Seoul. The architecture, driving, shopping and nightlife are some of those differences. I think one of the most surprising differences was the traffic. There are pedestrians, bicycles, and cars all driving and crossing the roads at the same time. It's a wonder more people aren't injured. There seemed to be little to no regard for the traffic laws. Thankfully though, taxis were very cheap so we were able to take those most places. When we went to the Great Wall we were able to rent a van for the whole day for only $100.
The Great Wall was mind blowing and it was fun to go hiking on it. The pictures, as usual, don't do it justice. On the way down we were able to take a "toboggan slide" and we rode toboggans to the bottom of the mountain. :) Sometimes when we were visiting different tourist sights some Chinese people would see us and come running up asking to have their picture taken with us...and before you know it you have 20 people crowding around wanting their picture taken with you. hahaha....it was a very strange experience. Odd too because it's not as though foreigners are that rare in Beijing.
We ate lots of Chinese food like dumplings, duck, bowza(breakfast dumplings), seafood, etc.
We crammed our days full and spent our nights playing Rook, swimming and getting foot massages.....ya it was the life! :) One of the best parts though was just hanging out with Chris and Tori.
Here are some pictures...with a few extra at the end from our time in Seoul with Chris and Tori.
