The G20 is here and everyone's talking about it. Over that past six months Korea has gotten more and more excited about hosting this event. We have seen the area and it's quite expansive....it's also right next to a giant shopping center. :) Korea has gone all out with their preparations, including updating their subway system and making public transit more English friendly. Seoul will have over 60,000 military personnel and riot police patrolling the streets around the G20 and the public transit system. This is three times the number ever deployed for a G20 summit. They have even canceled subway trains and buses that run within a 2km radius of the summit until 5pm every day. When Seoul hosts a global event, they don't mess around.
